What PatentNexus provides

PatentNexus provides AI-powered patent intelligence through a chat interface and REST API. Patent data is sourced from USPTO and other public patent office records. We also provide AI-generated content including prior art analysis, novelty assessments, and claim suggestions.

Pricing and credits

Access is credit-based. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per use. Subscription plans include a monthly credit allowance. Pay-as-you-go credits do not expire.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on unused credits.

No warranty on AI content

AI-generated content — including patent summaries, technology classification, prior art analysis, and claim suggestions — is provided as-is without warranty. This is not legal advice. Do not rely on it for legal decisions. Always verify against source patent documents and consult a qualified patent attorney before filing.

Data sources

Patent data is sourced from USPTO, EPO, WIPO, and other public patent office records. We make reasonable efforts to keep data current but do not guarantee completeness or accuracy.

Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent rate limits, or use the API for harmful purposes. Unused credit balances at time of suspension are non-refundable.
